A New Zero Video Update 5/30/12

I really want to finish a new alpha/beta/test version instead of making videos but there's still some more things I have to do first.  The main thing is the human movement, I feel that it's getting close to where I want it, without having to use too many cheats.  In the video you can see the progression in reverse order, I started out with just the feet connected directly to the waist, and now the legs are simulated also.  I still have to fix up some things with the leg angles and detecting where to place the feet and balancing.

I've also been working on some graphics, you can see the tree model so far in the background, and I've been working on adding some CSG functions so I can add things like cockpits and driver areas to the vehicle models.

Your work is unbelievably brilliant. Keep it up please :) Can you specify estimated time to release the alpha, please?

i love A New Zero and have been playing every version since i found it ages ago. only problem is, for some reason, the game eats up all my PCs RAM, but uses very little CPU power. my PC doesnt have much RAM, so the newer version runs very slow.

I love the music in your videos almost as much as I love the game design you're doing. I see it's from http://soundcloud.com/crypticsea, does that mean these are your own works too? What do you use to make them. They are all amazing!

why not make the body a series of cylinders, cones, and spheres, or just prisms cubes and pyramids.
